The 2027 Annual Congress of the Canadian Philosophical Association will take place 29 May – 03 June 2027 at Western University in London, Ontario, in partnership with Western's Department of Philosophy.
Building on the success of CPA26 in Halifax, CPA27 will bring together philosophers from across Canada and beyond for four days of philosophical exchange.

Land Acknowledgment
The Canadian Philosophical Association acknowledges that Western University, our 2027 host, is located on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak and Attawandaron peoples, on lands connected with the London Township and Sombra Treaties of 1796 and the Dish with One Spoon Covenant Wampum.
This land continues to be home to diverse Indigenous peoples — including First Nations, Métis and Inuit — whom we recognize as contemporary stewards of the land and vital contributors to our society. We respect the longstanding relationships that Indigenous Nations have to this land, as its original caretakers, and we acknowledge the historical and ongoing injustices Indigenous peoples endure in Canada.
