    The membership year runs from 1 January - 31 December. Membership is not prorated.

    Each member in good standing will have access to Dialogue, the Association's tri-annual publication. Members in good standing can participate in the annual Call for Papers.

    Application for Ordinary Membership, including Life Membership, may be made by any person holding a graduate degree in Philosophy (or an equivalent degree), or who is or has been a teacher of philosophy at an institute of higher learning or high school.

    Application for International Membership may be made by those who meet the conditions for Ordinary Membership and who do not reside in Canada and do not hold academic appointments in Canada.

    Departments wishing to sponsor their students should contact administration@acpcpa.ca directly.

    The early renewal period for the 2027 Membership year will open on 1 October 2026 and run until 31 December 2026. New members for 2027 can sign up during this period with no extra fees (15 months for the price of 12).
