Dans le cadre d’un hommage à l’œuvre de Charles W. Mills, l’Association canadienne de philosophie organise une table ronde bilingue sur le thème de Racisme et colonialisme en philosophie canadienne. Partant de l’influence marquante des travaux de Charles W. Mills sur le racisme en philosophie politique et en philosophie de la race, les intervenants partageront leurs réflexions sur les problèmes du racisme et du colonialisme en contexte canadien et discuterons de la manière que ces problématiques ont orienté leurs propres recherches.

Mills (CUNY) en dialogue avec Agnès Berthelot-Raffard (York), Ryoa Chung (Université de Montréal), Naïma Hamrouni (Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières), Chike Jeffers (Dalhousie), Meena Krishnamurty (Queen’s), Yann Allard-Tremblay (McGill), Audrey Yap (Victoria). La table ronde sera animée par Tiffany Gordon (Dalhousie) et Alisha Sharma (Queen’s)

As a tribute to the work of Charles W. Mills, the Canadian Philosophical Association is organizing a bilingual round table on the theme of Racism and Colonialism in Canadian Philosophy. As an homage to the work of Charles W. Mills, the speakers will discuss the problems of racism and colonialism in the Canadian context and how these questions influence their research.

Mills (CUNY) in conversation with Agnès Berthelot-Raffard (York), Ryoa Chung (Université de Montréal), Naïma Hamrouni (Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières), Chike Jeffers (Dalhousie), Meena Krishnamurty (Queen’s), Yann Allard-Tremblay (McGill), Audrey Yap (Victoria). The roundtable will be moderated by Tiffany Gordon (Dalhousie) et Alisha Sharma (Queen’s).
